Vintage Pinball Machine Baseball 1938 Chicago Working

It is a rrae baseball model featuring hits, home runs and total score. The machine is basically operational. There may be a few bulbs out and some switches/contacts that need attention.

It would make a fine display piece or could easily be restored as the wiring, relays, stepping switches are very straight forward and accessable. All of the preceding items seem ot functional. It has original finish wood/painted finish.

The back display glass is in great condition, no glass cracsk or paint peeling. It has the original coin can lock, tilt pin, and some score keeping rules.

Overall not in bad shape for a 75 year old machine. This machine does not have flippers. The glass top si in three pieces. It needs to be replaced by safety or plexi glass. The coin slot/start mechism has been modified so you don't need a nickle.
The load ball shoot mechnism needs to be replaced/rebuilt. The rubber on the post bumbers should be replaced. Basiclaly it needs some tlc for full player operation. However i would remove legs, remove the back score board unit, pad the glass on it, replace the 3 glass pieces on top with light plywood, wrap ni plastic. I canot guarentee against breakage or non-operation after it leaves my house. I think it will fit a big car trunk or with fold down rear seat. Thanks for your intreest in fine vintage item.
