Williams Zig Zag Pinball Machine1964 Works No ReserveThis machine gets almots an 8 out of 10. The international pinball database website! For a machine from 1964 thats incredible! This machine is a great reflection of the mid 60's wiht the beach theme.
The art is nice, the color scheme from that era really comes out. The inverse wedgehead look is a cool one. As far as gameplay goes, the a-b-c-d rollovers and the three kickout holes, while basic, actually combine to give you pretty much everything you need for a solid gameplay experience. Racking all nine backglass balls is a pretty difficult task. Winning a free game at 2500 points remains a fair challenge, even fro a moderately experienced player. My father in law left it to me with no keys to open the back of it. I didn't want to drill it out as i had no intention on keeping the game or causing unwanted damage. The front lock is gone so the doro does open in the front. The game plays pretty well, tsarts up no problem, bumpers/drop targets all ok. hTe backglass and playfield are what you see in the pictures, if there is anything specific you want to see please ask and i will try to help. The scoreboard sticks here & there, creates a buzzing sound until you score more points or restart the game. The bells, flippers and backglass balsl work also. There is no reserve on this machine!
I know very little about hwo it comes apart as it was left to me by my father in law.
